PROJECT DESCRIPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2022 The joint venture NET Engineering – Alpina – Studio Catalano e VDP<\/strong> wow the largest of 10 lots of Framework Agreement that RFI –Direction Station – Engineering Investments has issued for Prelimiary Design, Detail Design and final Design on external area, buildings, civil works, railway and relative appliances.<\/p>\n

The framework agreement amount is 10.290 million euros in three years, and is divided into different activations related, mainly, to the following stations:<\/p>\n

• Bologna – memory hub (Masterplan + preliminary)
• Bergamo (preliminary design + final design)
• Milan Greco Pirelli (final design)
• Mestre (final design)
• Padua (preliminary design)
• 16 stations in Puglia for Ferrovie Sud Est
• Syracuse (final design)<\/p>\n

VDP is taking care with environmental pre-feasibility studies, EIA verification, Environmental Impact Studies, DSNH compliance assessments and environmental sustainability reports for most stations.<\/p>\n

SPECIFICITY OF THE STUDY<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is reported in this specificity, the project of the new Apulian HUB on the line managed by FSE between Brindisi and Lecce that bases its objectives on the guiding principles that unite the approach to all stations.<\/p>\n

The intervention plan on the 16 stations is aimed at:<\/p>\n

• strengthen interchange services through the redevelopment of the areas in front and the construction of bus stations to connect all regional mobility in a single network;
• parking spaces for private cars, Bike Stations, charging points for electric mobility;
• increase security through enhanced lighting and video surveillance systems;
• improve accessibility to the station and trains by raising platforms to standard, eliminating architectural barriers, building underpasses, adapting paths for the visually impaired.<\/p>\n

More generally, the overall interventions on the stations will allow, in compliance with the historical architectural protection of the building and the environmental respect of the context in which it is located, an architectural restyling of buildings and a more effective insertion in urban fabrics.<\/p>\n

The “Smart Station” will be a model for the digital and sustainable transition of all Hubs, since it aims at the same time to safeguard the national historical heritage that the Passengers Buildings represent, and at the same time integrate in a respectful manner those fundamental technological adjustments so that the station is up to date, energetically sustainable and digitally accessible.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
