{"id":7288,"date":"2025-11-11T12:53:20","date_gmt":"2025-11-11T11:53:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vdpsrl.it\/?post_type=progetti&#038;p=7288"},"modified":"2025-12-04T10:14:59","modified_gmt":"2025-12-04T09:14:59","slug":"bari-urban-metro","status":"publish","type":"progetti","link":"https:\/\/www.vdpsrl.it\/en\/projects\/bari-urban-metro\/","title":{"rendered":"Bari Urban Metro"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>PROJECT DESCRIPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>VDP together with the grouping composed of NET ENGINEERING Srl and IG&amp;P Ingegneri Guadagnuolo &amp; Partners Srl, led by NET ENGINEERING Srl, has received the contract from the UNIMED SCARL Consortium for the executive design of the works for the construction of the extension of the Bari Lamasinata \u2013 Bari Quartiere San Paolo metro connection from the station \u201cCecilia\u201d to the station \u201cRegioni\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The area occupied by the project extends west of the territory of the San Paolo district. The metropolitan route of the Ferrovie del Nord Barese branches off from the existing Station \u201cCecilia,\u201d develops entirely in a tunnel, until reaching the square of the new Station \u201cdelle Regioni.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>VDP is responsible for designing the planned interventions in the green areas related to the project, the environmental monitoring plan, the design of noise barriers under construction, and the land characterization survey plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SPECIFICITY OF THE STUDY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The infrastructure system designed is an extension of the metro line which, through its branches, consisting of stations, also contributes to the redevelopment and physical-functional reorganization of the affected sites. The project is fully integrated with both the existing Ferrotramviaria SpA line and the S district connection. Paolo \u2013 Bari-Central and contributes to configuring a widely branched mobility system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The line&#8217;s layout and station location were defined after careful study, analysis, and evaluation of the characteristics of the affected area, the constraints, compatibility, and strategic objectives to be pursued, and the destinations of the areas to be used, following the regulations that regulate them, by virtue of their typification established by the PRGs in force in the municipalities of Bari and Modugno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Executive design concerns the following environmental issues:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mitigation works (noise barriers) are planned to be positioned along the construction site edges to mitigate the impact of noise;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Environmental Monitoring Plan (EMP) aims to define the monitoring activities necessary to identify possible environmental changes resulting from the construction of the works.
