Climate risk assessment and vulnerability related to the Integrated Water Service facilities and infrastructure network managed by Valle Umbra Servizi

The Climate Risk and Vulnerability Assessment concern the management activities of the Valle Umbra Integrated Water Service, services that concern the networks (aqueducts and sewers) and systems (purifiers, lifts, etc.) of 22 municipalities in the Province of Perugia.

An analysis of the historical data observed was carried out using values from the meteorological network control units available in the province of Perugia.

Climate change resilience analysis was performed through large area expected climate change analysis, an estimate of climate change over the assessed area, and a conclusive estimate of forecast data.

Climate and climate change hazards relevant to the area and activity under assessment were then identified and classified according to Appendix A of the technical screening criteria

Sensitivity analysis and exposure analysis were performed for each identified hazard, and adaptation and vulnerability analysis solutions were identified.
